Super Bowl Prediction

I just got cleaned out in poker once again. Good thing it was only $2 to get in, else I’d be hurtin’ for certain.

Slow day if there ever was one this Saturday. At least for me. There was stuff to do - first FSU baseball game of the season. We won it on a triple in the bottom of the 9th. I didn’t go, even though it was basically Scott P. Moriak’s birthday party.

I spent the day reading. At least this time it’s not that bad. It’s for my Religion, Ethics, and Medicine class, which is increasingly becoming my Medical Ethics class. We really don’t bring religion into the picture all that much, which means the reading isn’t moronic. When I get farther into the book I’ll tell you a little more about it, but it’s basically about this Hmong family who has emmigrated to the U.S., and they’ve just given birth to a little girl. None of the doctors speak their language, and their daughter starts to get really sick and the communication problems that arise from there.

Just to be on record, my Super Bowl prediction is as follows:
Patriots 24, Panthers 14
I really do think it will be a good game, and a close game throughout. I think it will be a 7 point game late. With about 2 minutes left the Pats will add on a field goal. Panthers drive ends on a Ty Law INT.

I also saw one of the Super Bowl commercials already. It’s a Pepsi commercial with Jimmy Hendrix as a kid. It’s pretty good, but it’s not hysterical. Hopefully the rest will be better.
