So I made it back to Florida in one piece on Saturday, and now I’m getting ready to go back to class. I don’t have my first one until 3:35, and usually that would mean that I would be sleeping until about 2:00 or so, but this morning I had a job interview for FSU Night Staff. I got the job. I just need to fill out some additional paperwork, then shadow someone for a night, and after that I’ll be a regular.
And then I’ll die.
You see, the hours for night staff are from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM. I’ll be working three nights a week (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday). To begin with they’re going to start me off with only 1-2 nights each week, just to let me get adjusted. But after that I’m going to fry my body three nights each week.
The only reason I’m doing this is because I need the money for my trip to Europe this summer. Seven weeks over there isn’t going to be cheap. And plus this is a job where I should be able to get my homework done while I work. Provided I can stay awake… 
Oh, and before I forget… Happy Birthday goes out to my sister Alison. She’s 16 today.
