Two down, one to go. I only have one more class to go to in Florence, and it’s on Monday. I’m really getting excited for it to be over. I’m not excited to leave Florence really, but I’m really happy to be seeing my family and friends up north. But I’m getting ahead of myself.
I’ve still got this awesome trip to London this weekend. Woo hoo! I’m really pumped. My camera is still at the bus station. I have to go pick it up before I leave. Thankfully it’s very near the airport. So I think I’m just going to get my cab a few minutes earlier and ask my driver to take me to both places.
I still haven’t done too much planning for this trip. I’m going to map out what I’m going to do each day while I’m on the airplane and while I’m in the hotel tonight. I’m not getting in until about 7:30 PM, so that really isn’t enough time to do anything but check in and get some dinner anyway.
I’m bringing two things with me that I want to get done while I’m in London. First, there’s work do be done for Modern Italy. I have a take-home test and a paper on The Day of the Owl that are both due Wednesday. Second, I’ve been meaning to get into this Bible study that Dave Wirgau gave me before I left Tallahassee. I started it (sort of) but I’ve really slacked off. It’s been hard enough just getting into the Word each day with the workload that I’ve got here. But I figure that while I’m in London I can make my own schedule, and part of that should include this Bible study.
I hope I didn’t forget to pack anything. I tend to do that every time I travel. That and I over pack with stuff I don’t need. Hopefully I didn’t do too badly this time, but I know I probably did.
