Holy cow, the next few days are going to be crazy. This morning I’m going to be hanging out with Renee Leduc and Rachel Christofel. In Connecticut! That’s nuts. After that I’m taking a train to be reunited with some of the NCP gang. In New York! Even more nuts. I’ll be there through the 4th of January. I’ve also got a couple of FSU peeps who will be passing through New York on a road trip while I’m there so I should see them too. Craziness. Sorry for the short post. Just wanted to make you jealous.

If this week is any indication I think I am going to become the most boring person ever if I leave Tallahassee after college. In fact, I might still become the most boring person ever if they force me to move off campus. I might have to go back for a master’s degree and live in Rogers or New Hall.
Sorry. The reason I’m freaking out is that I have had so little social contact outside of my family for the last week. And don’t get me wrong, the main reason I go home and the main reason I look forward to going home is because of my family. But I have spent so many hours reading and so many hours on the internet and so many hours not around other folk that, even as introverted as I am, I think I might go bananas.
I looked at the date of my last post and I’m just now starting to realize how much happened since then. Hopefully I can do it justice.
But before I launch into all of that let me first say this: my sister has gotten into two schools already! Woo hoo! Auburn and Texas have both recognized greatness. I’ll continue to keep you posted on this. I’m really excited to see where she ends up (as I’m sure you all are).
Since that last post I have taken five tests and I am about to take a sixth. My finals week started early. Last week I had an oral test in Spanish and finals in Career Development, Risk Management and After The New Testament. This past Tuesday I took a written Spanish test and this afternoon I’ll be taking a final in Speech. Then I’ll be done. It’ll be t-minus one semester and counting.
Quote of the Day #1: “There were all these discussions in the ancient world about whether Jesus pooped.” — Nicole Kelley, my after the New Testament professor, as our class gets off topic
Quote of the Day #2: “See, I’m always a step ahead of you and myself.” — Dr. Robert Marshall, my risk management professor, making light of himself after giving the wrong definition for an insurance term and not realizing it until he was done with his lengthy explanation
Quote of the Day #3: “Sometimes their s— hits the fan too. [pauses] I’m sorry for saying… s—. [pauses] S—! S—, s—, s—! It feels good sometimes to say s—!” — Mark Zeigler, my fundamental speech professor, originally explaining that we should be real and honest at a job interview, then degenerating into what you see
