One of the next big steps I’ve decided to take with my blog is to make a concerted effort to bring visitors to my site that don’t know me in the real world. In my latest attempt to drive traffic to my website I’ve added the Facebook application called Blog Networks and created a network page for my blog. People who use the application become “fans” of the blogs they like most. Based on the sites these users pick (and some keywords that I’ve provided) the application recommends other sites to them that they might also like.
If you’re a reader of my content — whether it be through visiting my site, through RSS or via Facebook notes — come show your interest in my writing by joining my blog network. After that, if you’d like to be a big help, become fans of other blogs you like so the application will have some cross-referencing data to work with.
