Share Your Spring Conference Stories

I have a favor to ask of any and all FSU students who attended the Navigators Spring Conference this past weekend. I’d like to hear your stories.

Just like each person on the staff team, I have a network of people who pray for the ministry work I do on campus. I recently wrote them about the conference and asked them to pray for us this weekend. Furthermore, some of these prayer warriors also contributed financially during the months leading up to the trip so that it would be more affordable for students to attend. Typically I give these prayer partners a recap of the events and share my own impressions. But I thought it would be even more special if I could quote some students when I tell them about the weekend.

So what’s your story? What did God do in your heart this weekend? What did you learn? How will you apply that to your life back on campus? You can be as detailed as you like. In my email to my prayer network I’ll pull quotes from your comments and, later on, I’ll post all your stories in a follow-up blog post. (I’ll use only your first name and year in school in attribution — so, for example, a quote from me would be followed by “Andrew, Grad Student.”)

You can put your story in the comments or message it to me. Keep in mind that my purpose here is to share what you say with others.

Also, as the photos and videos from the weekend begin to show up on Facebook and elsewhere I’d like to add them to a digital collage on thisMoment. If you’d like to make sure your photos and videos make it in there let me know you’ve put them online. (You won’t need to give me any files; just let me know where you uploaded them.)

Thanks for your help! Your testomonies about this weekend will be such an encouragement to my prayer partners.
